Obituary of Louise Marie Roach

Peacefully at The Mount Continuing Care Community on Sunday, April 27, 2025 the death occurred of Louise Marie Roach (Arsenault) of Charlottetown, age 98 years.  

Beloved wife of Sanford Patrick Roach. Louise will be missed by her sister Aurore Arsenault. Sister-in-law of Muriel Martin. Louise will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents Jérémie and Marie (Pitre) Arsenault and by her siblings Arsène (Thérèse), Albert (Anita), Denis (Alice), Thérèse (Felix), Joseph (Zélica) and by her brothers-in-law Fidèle Arsenault and Melvin Martin.

Louise was born in Mont Carmel in 1926. She was a devoted daughter who cared for her mother in the family home until such time the care required was more than Louise could provide. Louise eventually moved to Charlottetown. She met the love of her life Sanford “Doox”. They were married in 1972 later in life they had no children but many nieces and nephews. Sanford and Louise have been married for 51 years and were devoted partners.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10 am - 12 noon, followed by a Funeral Mass from St. Pius X Church at 2 pm. 

Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
