Peacefully with family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on April 3, 2025 of Lowell Garth Large of Mt Buchanan, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Evelyn (MacKinnon) Large. Dear father of Donald (Katherine) Large; Tracy (Jeff) Enfield; Cory (Sophie Arsenault) Large; Rosemary (Derek) Harpell. Loving grandpa to Tyson (Maria) Enfield; Bailey (Craig) Shultz; Kassie Enfield; Charlotte (Jordan MacLean) Large; Lyra (Blair Lorenzo) Large; Maxwell Large; Caine and Zale Arsenault; proud great-grandpa of Josie and Hank Schultz; Lowell was also eagerly awaiting the arrival in the very near future of another great-grandchild. Survived by brother Raymond (Elaine dec.) and sister Phyllis (Roy dec.) MacDonald, sisters- and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Eldon and Edith (Crossman) Large; stepmother Hilda (Ross) Large; brothers Wendell and Harry, sisters Aletha and Betty. No visiting hours or funeral by personal request. Burial to be in the Polly Cemetery Mt Buchanan. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
