Obituary of Thelma Isabell MacNeill

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 the death occurred of Thelma Isabell MacNeill (nee MacQuarrie) of Charlottetown, age 88 years.  Loving mother of Eileen Gallagher (William). Cherished grandmother of Jody Gallagher (Nikk Sharpe) and Lindsey Kane (Samuel), Darren Gallagher, Heather Dick (Keith). Great grandmother of Sarah, Alister and Skyla. Thelma will be missed by her siblings Louise MacQuarrie and Bernadette MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents Welsey and Murial (MacDonald) MacQuarrie; husband Roy Allan MacNeill; siblings, Ellsworth, Neil (Valerie), Stephen George MacQuarrie and Iris Haley (Joseph); and brother-in-law James MacDonald. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. No visiting hours by request.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday April 10, 2025 at 10:30 am. Interment will take place later at the Highfield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to Hillsborough Hospital-Unit 8.
