Obituary of Linda Mae Chappell

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, the death occurred peacefully of Linda Mae Chappell (Weatherbie) of Charlottetown, age 82 years.  

Loving mother of sons John Chappell (Annie) and Steven Osborne; daughters Kathy Wall (Roger), Janie MacKay (Chris) and Connie Court.  Linda will be remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters, Prudence Green and Helen Keating; sister-in-law Betty Grand and brother-in-law Kenneth Docherty; devoted niece Darlene MacDonald (Blake) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Mabel (Hill) Weatherbie, her husband Graham, son David Osborne, brothers John Weatherbie and Elwood Weatherbie (Margie) and sisters Dorothy Buchanan, Marion MacEachern, Lou Lea, Louise MacLeod, Edna Green and Emma Docherty.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 2-3 pm. No funeral service will be held by request. Interment will take place later at the St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery, Vernon Bridge.
