My sincere condolences Marilyn and all of the MacDonald family. I was very saddened to learn of Peter's passing. I was fortunate to have worked with Peter during my eleven years at CMHC. Peter always treated me in a kind and respectful manner and I have some great memories. I still remember (Marilyn you may also remember this) the times when Peter would be on the phone with clients and would need there account number and would shout out "Marcella, what is so and so's number?" as he knew I had the numbers ingrained in my brain. He would say why search the computer data base when Marcella is here!!
May you all cherish the memories of the happier times with Peter during the difficult days ahead.

To Peter's Family!
What A Shock!
I worked with Peter back in the 1980's when I was Chief Inspections Officer for CMHC on PEI. He was so young but a thoroughly good natured dependable coworker who applied all his energy and best efforts to any task he was assigned. He was very helpful to me and patient with my limited knowledge of the Island. I was supposed to be in a management role but I think he and his coworkers were training me.

We are so sorry to learn of Peter’s passing and offer our condolences to the family and friends. One could not ask for a kinder friend, neighbour or classmate than Peter. Whether it was helping with the farm, playing a neighbourhood game of softball, or school activities, he was a great sport and loved by all. Mermaid was a special place with a great community and 4-H club. We remember these times fondly.

On behalf of the Palmer family ,I would like to pass on our deepest condolences to Marilyn and the entire MacDonald family.
Peter and I rode the bus together for years, hung out at the Rixes farm in Mermaid and played hockey at the old orphanage in Mt. Herbert. Peter and I would arm wrestle on the bus and he always let me win. Peter and Greg helped us for many years putting in hay and straw at the farm in Bunbury. Many fond memories of growing up with this family.
