I met Gord at the construction of the Calgary Cancer Centre. As my Foreman along with son Tim, they fully entrusted me in a leadership role I never thought I would be in. He gave me confidence I never had and was always respectful. He was one of the few I always remembered.

We were close neighbours on Harley Street with the Gambles . I remember fondly Gordie had a snowmobile and us kids were thrilled when he took us for rides in the big snow banks back then. We were a group of kids that really enjoyed the old days. We skated, tobogganed and played baseball & street hockey . Gordie was always there with a smile and that wonderful personality.
