I remember Darrell from over 50 years ago, when he would come to the family dinners at the Yeo farm house. He was "the boyfriend" of my sister Judy and he was so nice and kind to all of us. I especially liked when Judy and Darrell would take Rob and I on Sunday trips to the east end of the Island, which in those days was almost another world to me. We'd go to beaches and drive to see Darrell's family in Murray River. It was a real treat to us! Darrell had a kind and generous spirit and loved his family and friends in a quiet way. I even got to ride in the big truck a few times when I was a kid. I know Darrell was pleased to have company along when he drove and he continued this practice with his kids and his grandkids in later years. You'll all greatly miss you Dad and your Poppie but rest assured he'll be watching that things will continue to be done right. I am so sorry for your loss. Big Hugs!

Doris and Family. thinking of all of you at this sad time, hard saying good bye to a Brother, Darrell was a kind and caring man, loved seeing him in the big rig on the highway, always a smile and a wave and a toot of the horn, I met Darrell years ago when I roomed in the City of Charlottetown with his sister Doris.....lots of fond memories. RIP Darrell and you will never be forgotten by all of us who knew you.

David and I are so very sorry for your loss. I first met Poppie when Deanna was busy building her home back in the summer of 2017. Poppie was parked outside and in the back seat was sitting a pretty little fairy - that would have been Alayah. From that time on, I would see Poppie supervising vehicle or house repairs. He was clearly a man of many talents and will be so missed by all who knew him.

I was surprised when Darrell told me where to find May flowers. Most people do not share that secret. I never found many in his spot so l am not sure if l got it right. Then as l got older it was too difficult for me to get there.(we,re the same age).
