We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to Margaret, and all the rest of Louis’s Family. We met Louis and Margaret at a card game, at St Joachim’s Hall in Vernon River. It was obvious that he loved to play cards, and loved teasing, especially, when he bet your Jack or ace of hearts, with the five, on the last lift. I hope the happy memories that you have of him, will comfort you now, and in the future. May he Rest In Peace.

We were so sorry to read about Louie's passing...our heartfelt condolences to all of the Hughes and extended family. We worked with Louie in the early 80's at the Dept of Highways, he was quite a character! And we always enjoyed running into him in later years to have a catch-up chat. Aunt Margaret and family, we are very sad to hear of Uncle Lou’s passing. All of my memories of him bring a huge smile to my face and heart. His laugh and smile had a way of making those around him smile and laugh. The wonderful memories of playing cards and spending time visiting with him will stay with me forever.
