Jason (Natasha), Samantha (Ritchie) and extended family; My deepest sympathy to you on the recent passing of Maureen. I only heard about Maureen's wake and funeral on Monday night. I am disappointed I missed the service/wake. Maureen was one of the kindest and most pleasant people that I have met over the years. It was always a pleasure to meet her with her large, friendly smile and to have a conversation with her. Maureen was always positive and grateful. She was indeed a very special lady. I will have wonderful memories of her happy and caring personality. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Ray Murphy

So very sorry to hear of Moe's passing. I bowled with her for many years at the Y. Anytime we would run into each other, she was always smiling and ready to chat and mention her grandchildren, she overflowed with love and stories. I admired her devotion to her family. Take care. Darlene Ching

Was so sad to hear of Mo's passing. We have been friends for many years, in fact we went to their wedding many years ago. Although we live in different provinces and lost touch for a while while raising our kids, I am thankful that we reconnected last year when we were on the island last summer. There are not enough words to express the depths of my condolences to all of you. This world has certainly lost some of its shine. I first met Mo when I came to work at the Do-It Centre as a student. Her patience, kindness, and genuine affection for people was always evident and on display. Since that time, I have been honored enough to have met many of you, her greatest treasures, her family. Her devotion to her husband, their marriage, her children, her siblings, and her own mom was always evident in our chats and time together through the years. Moe lived in awe and amazement of her grandchildren and cherished each of them. This world would do well with more people like Mo in it, and saying goodbye to a treasure like her is almost incomprehensible. I will carry all of the lessons she gave to me during our times together. Thinking of all of you with love in my heart and a tear in my eye. xo

Jason: Sorry for the loss of your mother. I talked to her a couple of months ago at a ceilidh in Winsloe. I remember good times at ball games and sharing a room with her at a couple of Youth Select tournaments in North Bay and one in Quebec. She was always fun to be with. Dorothy Smith

How saddened I am to see that Maureen has past away so suddenly. Such a beautiful spirit, contagious smile and joyful lady. I knew she and Paul through being Chaplain at ABNH for Paul’s first years there. Maureen NEVER complained about her lot in life. Now she has her reward, not just reunited with Paul, but with her Heavenly Father. Jason. No words can describe how shocked and saddened I am for you and your sweet family.and for derek and ronald . Mo adored all of you Her eyes would light up just talking about her son.and grandkids and her brothers I will miss my friend immensely, And what a friend she was, the best! We met in grade 7. And never ever lost touch. We shared each other lives for over 50 yrs, happy, sad , saw new lives born and helped each other through many deaths as well. recenly my brother was killed in an accident and Mo was one of the very first people to show up ...and for the past 2 mths since, has never let a day go by without calling, texting or visiting me to make sure i was ok. Thats just what kind of friend she was...the true kind. Having had 2 brothers each, we often said we were each others sisters.I will forever treasure my memories and miss her presence in my life...ox

Dear Jason and Family. We were shocked and saddened to hear of Mo's sudden passing. I first met Mo when we were on the BSC Baseball Association together. We reconnected when we got involved with Stratford Crokinole Group in the past few years. She attended whenever she could and was always willing to help out if needed. We will certainly miss her laugh, competitive spirit and presence at the Crokinole events. She was loved by all and will certainly be missed. Anne & Bill Nicolle and all Stratford Crokinole players.
