Laura and family: I just learned of Ed's passing today ((June 6/26). I served with Ed at Orilila RCMP Detachment and have fond memories of your Mom, Barbara, and youngsters. I replaced Ed at Sarnia Detachment. Barb and Ed were wonderful people. Our condolences to the Dornan Clan. May he Rest In Peace. Ken & Mirella Cornforth

Hi I worked at Beach Grove when your mom was there, you dad would visit with her daily and bring in the family pet. He was a Lovely person. Sending my condolences to all.

Laura: Cathy, Emma, Benjamin and I are sad to hear of Uncle Eddie’s passing. I recall our visits when my father (Howard) mother and brothers and sister would travel from Newfoundland for visits. Uncle Eddie always had a great smile. He was the last of a great group of brothers.

My condolences to Ed’s family. We always knew him as “ Eddy “. I remember him leaving Thorsby around 1955 to join the RCMP in Regina when I was 11 years old. We always looked forward to his visits back while he was training in Regina . Always remembered he always had the biggest friendly smile . Kind of wierd but I was thinking about him 3 or 4 days ago . We also have a son named Steve . RIP Eddy , you were a great guy when I was young and I am sure that continued your whole life .
