My Aunt Hilda...has always been loved greatly by our family...We would show up at their home from Nova Scotia...Harry, my father and my mother Alma would always bring a roast (uncooked) and she would always say...I knew you were coming today...and by dinner time, we all sat around that oak table with a beautiful meal, hot homemade bread, and fresh vegetables. I always had such a warm feeling as young as I was and we were greeted with open arms inspite of being a family of 7...sometimes it would just be myself and my twin Lorraine with dad and mom...let's just add those numbers to a family of 12 children and yet...they made it so effortless for us to be there and we felt loved. My favourite memory of My Aunt Hilda, was sitting around a potbelly (I think it was) stove and her singing with her beautiful voice. RIP Aunt Hilda...we love you
