I am writing on behalf of myself and three other lady golfers from Charlottetown who met Lowell at Belfast Golf Course. Lowell, Lynwood and their buddies almost always golfed ahead or behind us. There was always lots of teasing and cajoling which continued afterwards in the clubhouse. And so, when we read Lowell's obituary we were all so shocked and saddened as he was such a friendly, upbeat and welcoming figure at Belfast. To his family we offer our sympathy and want you to know how much he meant to our group.

So sorry for you and your family's loss . I worked at Belfast Highland Greens for a few years and was always had a great chat with Lowell . From then on he would always stop for a chat when we would run into each other at the store he always had a big smile and asked about my family, he will be missed by all of us deepest condolences The Langley Family

Most of my memories of Lowell are from my childhood. He always welcomed me and treated me like family, complete with cheesy dad jokes. I remember him as always up for a laugh, patient and generous.

Sending love to the family of a wonderful man Lowell. Lowell always had a smile on his face and wanting to help everyone he could. Years ago I sent a card when he was ill, I told him he has always been an inspiration to me and I looked up to him, as a friend. He got back to me and said that he was very touched by my note to him.
